Privacy Notice

Last updated 23 August 2026

This notice explains what information GolfKit collects when you use the golfkit.io website or the Extras Stock [Beta] Chrome extension, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It does not cover the separate booking software we provide to golf venues.

In short: if you fill in our interest form, we use your details to reply to your GolfKit enquiry. We only send you marketing about other projects from Nineteen Feet Tall (the creators of GolfKit) if you tick the consent box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we are

GolfKit is branded online booking software for golf venues, created by Nineteen Feet Tall. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Nineteen Feet Tall is the "controller" of the personal data described in this notice. If you have any questions, you can reach us at hello@19ft.io.

What we collect

When you submit the interest form on our website, we collect the information you choose to give us:

We do not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers on this website, and we do not knowingly collect any special-category personal data.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

Who we share it with

Interest-form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-processing service, and reach us by email. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may use trusted service providers (such as email and hosting providers) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to follow up on your interest and for a reasonable period afterwards, and marketing contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After that we delete or anonymise the information.

Extras Stock [Beta] Chrome extension

Extras Stock [Beta] was developed by GolfKit as an independent third-party tool for authorised golf operations staff. It adds reusable-Extra stock information to supported Lightspeed Golf administration pages hosted on chronogolf.com and chronogolf.ca. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lightspeed Commerce.

Data the extension handles

The extension reads only the website content needed for its stock feature: the club and course identifiers used by those Chronogolf-hosted administration pages, tee times, reservation and round identifiers, Extra or product identifiers, quantities, and relevant booking timestamps. It also handles the Extras Stock [Beta] configuration entered or imported by the operator.

When connected sync is enabled, the extension stores a revocable, club-scoped Extras Stock [Beta] installation token. It does not read or store Lightspeed passwords, authentication cookies, payment-card data, personal communications, or general browsing history.

When the extension contacts the Extras Stock [Beta] service, the service receives standard network and security information, including the requester IP address, request time, requested endpoint and response status. The IP address is used temporarily for security and rate limiting.

How extension data is used

Website content is used to calculate and display Extra availability, include current unsaved choices, warn about insufficient stock, and protect booking moves involving tracked Extras. Configuration and consent are stored locally in the Chrome extension profile.

Local calculation is always available. Connected sync is a separate operator choice. When enabled, the extension sends the minimum booking projection and shared Extra configuration needed to provide the Extras Stock [Beta] service to https://book.golfkit.io over HTTPS. The connection uses the revocable Extras Stock [Beta] token, not a Lightspeed credential.

Sharing, advertising and human access

Extension data is not sold and is not used for advertising, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to Extras Stock [Beta]'s single purpose. It is not transferred to third parties except service providers required to operate and secure Extras Stock [Beta], or where required by law. Personnel do not read booking data except with the operator's specific support consent, when necessary to investigate security or abuse, or where legally required.

Retention and operator control

Local extension data remains in the Chrome profile until the operator clears the extension's data or removes the extension. Operators can leave connected sync disabled and can revoke or replace the club-scoped connection. Server-side projection and operational records are retained only for operating, securing and supporting Extras Stock [Beta].

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome extension APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data access is limited to providing or improving the visible Extras Stock [Beta] stock-management feature.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@19ft.io.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
